Apple #7

This one was done with the colored pencil tool in Painter. It was difficult to work with as I don't feel they behave like real colored pencils. However, I like the texture they produce.

Apple #5 Oils

Here's my 5th apple study, this one was done with oil paints. I have temporarily stopped doing apples and I have to start my other assignment now, which is an environment. But never fear, there will be at least 3 more apples to come, for all you fruit lovers. ;)

4th Apple Study

Here's my 4th apple study. This one was done with digital water. Except the highlights were airbrushed, b/c I messed up. :P

Apple 3 Pastel

Here's my third apple study in Painter, this one was done entirely with Pastels. Any comments/feedback on how I can improve it are greatly appreciated!

2nd Apple

Here's my 2nd apple, this one was done with Acrylic brushes.



Also, after comparing the acrylic apple to the airbrushed apple, I decided to try and give the airbrushed one more volume. This apple was problematic for me because a number of reasons, but mainly because when I started it the light source was very even due to the classroom's fluorescent lights. I think my adjustments helped a little, but I lost some of the detail.

Learning Painter

I'm taking a Digital Illustration class this summer, and we are learning Painter. We have the apple exercises, and here's my first attempt at it. This first one is done with all airbrush tools.
