To answer the question... Because if an apple looks like this, it would mean our scientists were hard at work genetically mutating the apple with toxic chemicals to gave it the unusual shape. =P
Wow, you're going crazy with your apples. The cast shadow bothers me a bit, but the apple itself looks ready to be eaten and transform me into a cubic version of myself. xP
